I believe the spaces we inhabit, the objects we surround ourselves with, and the people we choose to work with all say the same thing about us. My job is to make sure they say something worth hearing.
I work as an independent business developer for growth companies. Not as a consultant with a framework, but as someone who picks up the phone and knows who answers. My network spans architecture, real estate, hospitality, the arts, and European institutions — built over two decades of showing up, delivering, and never burning a bridge. If your company is ready to grow and needs someone who understands both the creative and commercial sides of that equation, that's exactly where I work best.
That network didn't come from nowhere. I trained as an architect and spent twenty years designing homes, offices and interiors for clients across Brussels and beyond. That work taught me something more valuable than a portfolio: how to listen before I draw, how to find what someone needs before they can name it, and how to build things that last. Those are the same skills I bring to every business conversation.
Alongside the development work, I run two projects that are entirely my own. Donck.studio is where I put my creative practice — events, concepts, cultural programming and brand work. Donck.gallery is a curated space for contemporary art and design objects, with a quiet secondary market for discerning collectors. Both are expressions of the same point of view I bring to client work: that the creative and commercial are never really separate.
If any of this sounds like a conversation worth having — I'm easy to find. Drop me a line @ hello@donck.studio
